ASIAN PACIFIC WOMEN IN STEM (APIWIS)
APWIS is a club dedicated to creating a supportive space for Asian and Asian Pacific Islander women pursuing careers and education in STEM. As women in fields where we are often underrepresented, we have faced unique challenges, from feeling isolated to struggling to find our voices among the majority male presence. APWIS aims to transform these experiences by building a community rooted in belonging, strength, and acceptance. Our mission is to support each other as we pursue our dreams and aspirations, sharing both our love for STEM and the resilience that drives us forward. Together, we can create a space where everyone feels represented, supported, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential.
