Posting Flyers

Do you want to post flyers across campus? Come bring 5 hard copies of your poster/flyer to our Front Desk located at: 

A member of staff will stamp your flyers and Student Ambassadors will post your flyers on campus during one of our routine posting times. 

Please do not post any flyers without approval

Posting Guidelines

All flyers and posters must be submitted to and approved before being posted

  • Reserved for SRJC clubs & departments ONLY.
  • Student Ambassadors will post the materials.
  • Individuals and organizations may not post their own flyers.
  • Recommended poster size is 8.5 x 11 inches.
  • Materials may only be posted on designated posting boards.
     

Off-Campus Organization Posting 

  • One approved posting location: Frank P. Doyle Library - Second Floor, Media & Printing Room 
     

Flyers or Posters that have not been approved, are self-posted, or placed outside of approved locations will be removed without notice.

Digital Displays & District Calendar

The SRJC rotating screens and District calendar are two of the best ways to reach out to students and make sure they hear about your upcoming event/activity/meeting. If you want to advertise on our Digital Displays and/or in the District calendar:

  • Fill out the Student Life Communications Form.
  • Upload a horizontal and vertical version of the flyer to accommodate for different screen sizes.

Large Format Printing

SRJC programs and student organizations can utilize our Large Format Printer Work Order request and pay for the following print orders: 

  • A-Frame sized prints (24 inches by 36 inches): cost is $5 per page to print
  • Smaller poster prints (18 inches by 24 inches): cost is $3 per page to print
  • Banners (24 Inches by any custom length): cost is $10 per page to print.

Come check out an A-Frame at the Student Life Front Desk! Fill out the Equipment Check Out Form and we can reserve an A-Frame for you. We can also reserve equipment in advance!

Sending Emails

If you'd like to send an email to students, please fill out the Student Life Communications Form and select the desired options. 

For advertising events: 

  • Mass Emails sent to all SRJC Students is NOT encouraged. Instead, emails and texts can more easily be sent to a sub-group of students or mailing list.

TABLING & SOLICITATION POLICY

Tabling Eligibility

The following groups may request to table:

  • Registered student organizations
  • College departments and programs
  • College-affiliated organizations
  • External organizations (subject to additional requirements and approval)

Approval is granted at the discretion of the District or its designee and is not guaranteed.

How to Request Tabling Space

Contact the Student Life Office at:

Same-Day Requests: 

  • Groups may check in in person on the day of their activity at the appropriate campus office.
  • Same-day requests are subject to availability, staffing, and space limitations.
  • Approval is not guaranteed for same-day requests.

Advance Requests: 

  • Groups are encouraged to submit requests in advance to ensure availability and processing.

Conditions of Use/Prohibited Conduct

Approved tabling activities must comply with the following:

  • Activities are limited to designated tabling locations.
  • Tabling may only occur during approved dates and times.
  • Tables, signage, and displays must not obstruct walkways, entrances, exits, or emergency access.
  • Amplified sound is prohibited unless explicitly authorized.
  • Sales, fundraising, or donation collection require prior approval.
  • All materials must be removed at the conclusion of the approved time.
  • Groups are responsible for leaving the area clean.

 

The following are not permitted:

  • Aggressive or disruptive solicitation
  • Harassment or coercion
  • Blocking pedestrian traffic or building access
  • Posting materials outside approved areas
  • Use of hazardous materials or open flames
  • Any activity that violates District policy or staff direction

 

Failure to comply with District policies or conditions may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the activity
  • Revocation of approval
  • Loss of future tabling privileges
  • Referral to appropriate District offices
