- If I buy CubCard Premium once, do I keep for the following semester?
No, you have to purchase CubCard Premium separately each semester. Fall and Spring are $15, and Summer is $9.
- How many times can I use my CubCard?
As much as you want! Some vendors have restrictions on the type and quantity of discount that can be applied. Click below to see a full list of discounts:
- If I pay for CubCard Premium online, do I still have to go get a sticker on my ID card?
Yes! CubCard Premium is only redeemable if you have the physical sticker with the semester on the back of your ID card.
You can get your sticker at the following locations:
- Santa Rosa Campus – Bertolini Information Desk (1st Floor)
- Petaluma Campus – Mike Smith Hall Welcome and Connect Center
- I haven't signed up for classes yet, can I still get the CubCard in advance?
Unfortunately, no. Our discount service is only offered for enrolled students in the current term. Your class enrollment will be verified in person when you go to pick up your CubCard Premium sticker at the following locations:
- Santa Rosa Campus – Bertolini Information Desk (1st Floor)
- Petaluma Campus – Mike Smith Hall Welcome and Connect Center
- Is CubCard Premium exchangeable with another student if I don't need it anymore?
No, your CubCard purchase is tied to your Student ID Number and cannot be exchanged with another student.
- Can I also pay for CubCard in person?
Yes! You can pay in person and pick up your CubCard Premium Sticker on the same day at these locations:

- Is CubCard the same thing as a Student ID Card?
No, CubCard Premium is our discount service that helps fund Student Government Assembly, Clubs, and other Student Programs! CubCard Premium is optional and requires a purchase from the student.
Your Student ID Card is your official student identification and provides access to on-campus events. Your first ID Card is free. If you lose your ID card or would like a different photo, replacement costs are $5.
- Can Financial Aid cover my CubCard Premium Cost?
Yes! Speak with a Financial Aid Advisor to find out more about your eligibility for Financial Aid and whether it can cover the Cost of CubCard Premium.
If you are eligible, make sure to put your CubCard Premium purchase in your cart in the Student Portal. Once the disbursement dates pass, it will automatically cover the cost alongside any other fees.
- I lost my Student ID Card with the CubCard Premium Sticker on it. Do I have to pay for CubCard Premium again?
No! You only have to pay once per semester for CubCard Premium, and your payment will be easily verifiable by our staff. There will be a $5 replacement ID Card fee for the lost ID Card, but the CubCard Premium Sticker will be placed again for free.
- When's the earliest I can purchase CubCard Premium?
You can purchase CubCard Premium the moment you sign up for classes! Once registration opens, CubCard is available for purchase and your sticker can be picked up from the following locations before the semester starts:
- Santa Rosa Campus – Bertolini Information Desk (1st Floor)
- Petaluma Campus – Mike Smith Hall Welcome and Connect Center
- One of the business partners wouldn't give me my discount. What happened?
There's a few things that could be happening.
- You are using an outdated sticker. If you tried to redeem a discount over the Summer, and your sticker is for the Spring, you may have been refused a discount because of this.
- You have a validation sticker, but not a CubCard sticker. When you receive your Student ID Card, a currently enrolled sticker will be placed on the back for the current semester. This is separate from the CubCard sticker. You have to have both stickers to be eligible for a discount.
- Lack of communication. If you were properly qualified for the correct discount, there may be an issue with communication from one of our business partners. Please contact Melissa Cowan at mcowan@santarosa.edu or call (707) 524-1808 and let us know what happened so we can fix the issue.
- Our discounts may have changed. Make sure that the discount you are trying to receive is posted on our website. Over time, our partners either change, discontinue, or add new discounts. Click below to see the full list of current discounts:
